Deli Clerk (Casual)

About the role#

Saskatoon Co-operative Association Ltd. is seeking a casual Deli Clerk to join the team at the Innisfail Food Store. This position involves working less than 24 hours per week with availability required across weekdays and weekends, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings. Applicants must be over 14 years of age.

What you'll do#

• Provide exceptional customer service to all shoppers.
• Prepare a variety of food items including sandwiches, pizzas, salads, fried foods, and special trays.
• Stock, package, slice, and label products for purchase.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager.

What you'll need#

• Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, as some heavy lifting is required.
• Experience with food preparation is considered an asset, though training is available.
