Deli Clerk

About the role#

The Innisfail Food Store is seeking a full-time Deli Clerk to join our team. This role involves 40 hours per week with availability required across weekdays and weekends, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings. Eligible employees may access benefits after three months of employment.

What you'll do#

• Provide exceptional customer service to all shoppers.
• Prepare a variety of food items including sandwiches, pizzas, salads, fried foods, and special trays.
• Stock, package, slice, and label products for retail sale.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager.

What you'll need#

• Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
• Strong organizational abilities.
• Capacity to work effectively in a busy environment.
• Ability to work both as a team player and independently.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, as some heavy lifting is required.
• Applicants must be over 14 years of age.
• Experience with food preparation is considered an asset, though training is available for the right candidate.
