About the role#
Saskatoon Co-operative Association Ltd. is seeking a full-time Deli Clerk for the Innisfail Food Store. This role involves 40 hours of work per week with availability required for mornings, afternoons, and evenings on both weekdays and weekends. Applicants must be over 14 years of age.
What you'll do#
- Provide exceptional customer service to all shoppers.
- Prepare deli items including sandwiches, pizzas, salads, fried foods, and special trays.
- Stock, package, slice, and label products for retail sale.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager.
What you'll need#
- Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
- Strong organizational abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a busy environment.
- Capacity to work well as a team player and independently.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, as some heavy lifting is required.
- Previous experience with food preparation is an asset, though training is available.
