About the role#
PCL Construction is hiring an Accounting Student for our Solar district in Oakville, Ontario. This is a full-time, paid position for the Winter 2027 term. You will work on-site and gain hands-on experience by supporting our accounting team with daily operations and project-based tasks.
What you'll do#
- Enter invoices and perform bank and Visa reconciliations in the PCL accounting system.
- Run and update reports as needed.
- Assist with courier and phone costing.
- Reconcile supplier statements and prepare accounts receivable reports.
- Support weekly cheque printing, client progress billings, and subcontract administration.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration program.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
- Ability to organize data and perform basic analysis.
- Strong professional communication skills.
- An intention to pursue a CPA designation after graduation is a strong asset.

- Compensation: $19.57 to $28.88 per hour, based on experience.
