About the role#
This is a paid, full-time internship opportunity within our Solar Canada district. You will work on-site in Oakville, Ontario, for a term beginning in Winter 2027. We are looking for students currently pursuing degrees in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
What you'll do#
- Coordinate and manage project design and procurement processes, including taking meeting minutes and tracking open items.
- Review RFP documentation, drawings, diagrams, commissioning plans, and electrical studies.
- Facilitate communication between project stakeholders by sending RFIs and submittals through PM4+.
- Ensure project compliance and quality by tracking site O&Ms and warranty items.
- Convert Excel inspection test plans into PM4+ ITP templates to streamline processes.
- Develop and maintain Power BI Synoptics design dashboards.
- Resolve issues through direct communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain strong, customer-focused relationships with all project partners.
What you'll need#
- A strong interest in solar design.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, word processing, and Excel.
- Familiarity with PM4+ and Power BI is preferred.

- Compensation: $21.37 - $31.34 per hour, depending on experience.
