About the role#
We are hiring an Accounting Student for our Ottawa district. This is a full-time, paid position for the Winter 2027 term. You will work on-site for a 4-month duration starting in January 2027.
What you'll do#
- Complete project and overhead-related accounts payable and journal entries.
- Monitor and reconcile the transfer of funds from the corporate office.
- Prepare and process bank deposits.
- Process and enter cash receipts.
- Verify vendor addresses and enter them into the accounting system.
- Enter and process revisions.
What you'll need#
- You are currently working towards a degree or diploma in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- A deep understanding of accounting principles.
- Intermediate skills with Microsoft programs, specifically Excel.
- The ability to multi-task and prioritize your workload.
- Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.

- Compensation: $20.25 to $30.00 per hour based on experience.
