About the role#
We are looking for a Business Systems Analyst Student to join our team at the Edmonton North American Headquarters. This is a full-time, paid position for a duration of 8 or 12 months, beginning in January 2027. You will work on-site as part of a team dedicated to enterprise business development and departmental innovation.
What you'll do#
- Provide user support, troubleshoot incidents, and investigate technical problems.
- Build and configure reporting, dashboards, and analytics using tools such as Power BI.
- Consolidate and sanitize data sources for fleet and inventory management.
- Identify and streamline processes to improve department effectiveness.
- Assess, develop, and implement AI agents and tools to assist department objectives.
- Create and update system documentation, use cases, and training materials.
- Deliver web-based training to end users.
- Assist with system configuration, testing, and requirements documentation.
- Coordinate with subject matter experts for user acceptance testing.
- Liaise between business, technology, and support teams to ensure system requirements are met.
- Communicate project updates to stakeholders.
What you'll need#
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Enrollment in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Assets include experience with SQL, construction industry knowledge, support roles, data analysis, training, and technical writing.
