About the role#
The Saskatoon Co-operative Association Ltd. is hiring a part-time Liquor Clerk in Melfort, Saskatchewan. This role involves managing inventory, processing sales, and maintaining store operations. You will work on-site in a retail environment and must be available for evening and weekend shifts.
What you'll do#
- Receive, examine, and warehouse liquor merchandise.
- Process customer purchases using the cash register, including handling pricing, coupons, and payments.
- Assist in planning and organizing merchandise displays for regular stock and promotional events.
- Perform general housekeeping duties, including stocking, facing, and store opening or closing tasks.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Monitor store security to prevent unauthorized removal of merchandise.
- Maintain a professional approach regarding attitude, dependability, and appearance.
What you'll need#
- Valid driver’s license.
- Must be at least 19 years of age.
- Must be bondable.
- Physical ability to repetitively lift 40 lbs.
- Ability to work effectively with co-workers and the public.
- Serve It Right Saskatchewan course or beverage alcohol product knowledge certifications are considered assets.
