Liquor Clerk

About the role#

This is a part-time, on-site Liquor Clerk position at the Melfort Liquor Store. The role involves managing daily store operations, handling merchandise, and providing professional customer service.

What you'll do#

• Process customer purchases at the cash register, including handling pricing, coupons, and authorizations.
• Receive, examine, and warehouse liquor inventory.
• Assist in planning and organizing merchandise displays for regular stock and promotional events.
• Perform general housekeeping, including stocking, facing, and store opening or closing duties.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and remain alert to prevent unauthorized removal of merchandise.
• Maintain a professional approach to work, including attendance and appearance.

What you'll need#

• Must be at least 19 years of age and hold a valid driver’s license.
• Must be bondable.
• Physical ability to repetitively lift 40 lbs.
• Ability to work effectively with co-workers and the public.
• Availability to work evening and weekend shifts.
• Serve It Right Saskatchewan certification or Beverage Alcohol Product Knowledge courses are considered assets.
