About the role#
This is a part-time, on-site Liquor Clerk position at the Melfort Liquor Store. The role involves managing daily store operations, handling merchandise, and providing professional customer service.
What you'll do#
- Process customer purchases at the cash register, including handling pricing, coupons, and authorizations.
- Receive, examine, and warehouse liquor inventory.
- Assist in planning and organizing merchandise displays for regular stock and promotional events.
- Perform general housekeeping, including stocking, facing, and store opening or closing duties.
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment and remain alert to prevent unauthorized removal of merchandise.
- Maintain a professional approach to work, including attendance and appearance.
What you'll need#
- Must be at least 19 years of age and hold a valid driver’s license.
- Must be bondable.
- Physical ability to repetitively lift 40 lbs.
- Ability to work effectively with co-workers and the public.
- Availability to work evening and weekend shifts.
- Serve It Right Saskatchewan certification or Beverage Alcohol Product Knowledge courses are considered assets.
