Location Manager

About the role#

Saskatoon Co-operative Association Ltd. is seeking a full-time Location Manager for the Westview Co-op Agro Centre in Hanna, Alberta. This role provides overall leadership for the location, focusing on operational effectiveness, financial performance, and strategic sustainability.

What you'll do#

• Lead talent management initiatives, including performance management, development, engagement, recruitment, and succession planning.
• Oversee all aspects of the Hanna Agro operations, including sales, margins, expenses, and inventory management.
• Assist in the preparation and development of the annual budget.
• Collaborate with team members to improve operational results and execute marketing campaigns.
• Ensure all administrative duties, such as invoices and claims, are completed accurately and on time.
• Review financial statements to provide coaching and identify areas for improvement.
• Monitor external competitive pressures and provide recommendations to enhance business operations.
• Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures.

What you'll need#

• Minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience, preferably within the agriculture industry.
• Commitment to ongoing industry development and knowledge in areas such as agronomy, chemical, seed, and crop production.
• Ability to manage detailed operating budgets, timelines, and organizational resources.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on guest service, conflict management, and accountability.
• A valid Class 5 Driver’s License.
• Educational background in Agriculture, Business Administration, or Operations Management is preferred.
