About the role#
Saskatoon Co-operative Association Ltd. is hiring a Senior Human Resources Business Partner to work from our Administration Building in Saskatoon. This role reports to the Human Resources Manager and focuses on providing guidance to leaders, managing attendance programs, and supporting employee relations within a unionized environment.
What you'll do#
- Provide first-level HR advice to leaders regarding employee relations, performance, and policy interpretation.
- Coach leaders on how to conduct employee conversations and maintain accurate documentation.
- Coordinate attendance management tracking, including correspondence and record keeping.
- Generate routine and ad hoc reports on attendance, turnover, and workforce data.
- Assist with updates to HR tools, templates, and standard operating procedures.
- Support conflict resolution and participate in employee meetings to track actions.
- Maintain HRIS data integrity and assist with employee lifecycle transactions.
What you'll need#
- An undergraduate degree in Business or Social Sciences, preferably with a major in Human Resources.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience as an HR Generalist in a unionized setting.
- Practical experience in Talent Management and Employee Relations.
- A CPHR designation is preferred.
