About the role#
Saskatoon Co-operative Association Ltd. is seeking a full-time Liquor Clerk for the Melfort Liquor Store. This role requires a professional approach to work, including high standards for dependability, attitude, and personal appearance. You must be available to work evening and weekend shifts.
What you'll do#
- Receive, examine, and warehouse liquor merchandise.
- Process customer purchases at the cash register, including handling pricing, coupons, and authorizations.
- Assist in planning and organizing merchandise displays for regular stock and promotional events.
- Perform general housekeeping, including stocking, facing, and store opening or closing duties.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Monitor the store to prevent unauthorized removal of merchandise.
What you'll need#
- You must be at least 19 years of age and hold a valid driver's license.
- You must be bondable.
- Ability to repetitively lift 40 lbs.
- Ability to work effectively with co-workers and the public.
- Serve It Right Saskatchewan certification or beverage alcohol product knowledge courses are considered assets.
