Full Time Liquor Clerk

About the role#

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Melfort, Saskatchewan. The role involves managing daily store operations, customer service, and inventory handling within a retail environment.

What you'll do#

• Process customer purchases at the cash register, including handling pricing, coupons, and authorizations.
• Receive, examine, and warehouse liquor merchandise.
• Assist in planning and organizing merchandise displays for regular stock and promotional events.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety, including general housekeeping, stocking, facing, and store opening or closing procedures.
• Monitor the store to prevent unauthorized removal of merchandise.
• Maintain a professional approach to work, including dependability and appearance.

What you'll need#

• Must be at least 19 years of age and hold a valid driver’s license.
• Must be bondable.
• Physical ability to repetitively lift 40 lbs.
• Availability to work evenings and weekend shifts.
• Ability to work effectively with co-workers and the public.
• Serve It Right Saskatchewan certification or beverage alcohol product knowledge courses are considered assets.
