Student Meat Clerk

About the role#

As a Student Meat Clerk, you will support the daily operations of the meat department. This role focuses on maintaining inventory, preparing products for sale, and providing service to customers in a retail environment.

What you'll do#

• Fill and rotate frozen and processed stock according to department standards.
• Package, wrap, price, and display meat products.
• Follow production charts to create value-added products.
• Provide information and assistance to customers.
• Perform general housekeeping duties to keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.

What you'll need#

• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
• Willingness to undergo training to cut various types of meat products.
• A results-oriented mindset with a focus on being the best in your work.
• Demonstrated honesty and trustworthiness.
• Enrollment in fields such as Agriculture, Business Administration, Nursing, or Nutrition.
