About the role#
The Asset Management Operations, Portfolio Ops & Analytics team is looking for a Winter 2027 intern. This full-time position runs from January to April 2027. You will work 37.5 hours per week in a hybrid environment, spending three days a week in the office. This role supports the investment management front office and oversees the daily administration of investment funds.
What you'll do#
- Evolve the Product Event roster to streamline fund execution, such as fund launches and mergers.
- Analyze fund reconciliation data to find process gaps and identify the root cause of errors.
- Document new procedures to update the Fund Services Policy and Procedure Library.
- Review business processes to identify areas for improvement, including the use of AI.
- Complete ad hoc research and operational analysis for internal stakeholders.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and tax returns while resolving fund accounting issues with external vendors.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an undergraduate program in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or Accounting, with plans to return to school in 2027.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically SharePoint and Excel.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team.
- Familiarity with SQL or programming is an asset.
