About the role#
The PhD Quant Research Analyst internship within the Client Solutions & Analytics team offers a 10-week program focused on producing quantitative research and investment solutions. Interns work directly with internal teams to analyze market themes and build tools that help manage client portfolios.
What you'll do#
- Publish research pieces on relevant market themes.
- Construct bespoke investment solutions for clients.
- Develop platforms and applications to analyze client portfolios.
- Collaborate with Portfolio Management, Product Strategy, and Client Management teams.
- Participate in internal and client presentations.
What you'll need#
- Ph.D. candidate from a top program in quantitative disciplines including Finance, Economics, Statistics, Physics, or Mathematics.
- Formal training in empirical research, specifically time series and panel data econometrics.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, MATLAB, or C++.
- Enrollment at a university during the Fall 2027 semester.

- This is a full-time, paid internship located on-site in Newport Beach, California.
- The program runs for 10 weeks during the summer of 2027.
