About the role#
This internship offers a chance to apply quantitative and machine learning skills to real-world investment problems. You will work within the Quant or Applied AI team to transform data into actionable insights for global macro investing. The program includes a one-week training period covering financial markets, trading strategies, and the latest AI tools. You will work alongside senior professionals on projects that contribute to the firm's investment processes.
What you'll do#
- Apply frontier AI techniques to research and trading problems.
- Contribute to the central analytics platform.
- Develop a core analytics library for asset classes including Fixed Income, FX, Credit, and Equity.
- Integrate AI into existing trading tools.
- Develop trading strategies, signals, and back testing in collaboration with Portfolio Managers.
- Build agentic AI systems and LLM-based tools for research and trade workflows.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a penultimate year undergraduate, junior, or 1st year master's or PhD student.
- Degree completion expected before July 2028.
- Strong mathematical, quantitative, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Technical skills in Excel, VBA, and R.
- Programming experience in Python.
- Ability to explain fundamental AI concepts.
- Demonstrated interest in financial markets.
- Strong communication skills in English and the ability to work both independently and within a team.
- Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.

- Compensation: $150,000 annualized salary, prorated for the 10-week duration, plus a housing stipend and completion bonus.
