About the role#
This internship offers a chance to apply quantitative and machine learning skills to real-world investment challenges. You will work directly with front-office teams to build systematic investment processes. The program includes a one-week training period covering macroeconomics, financial products, trading strategies, and technical tools. Successful interns may be considered for the 2028 Graduate Program.
What you'll do#
- Build pipelines to extract and analyze data.
- Develop models and trading signals to support Portfolio Managers.
- Integrate AI into analytical systems and create new tools using LLMs and agent workflows.
- Contribute to the core analytics library used for research, trading, and risk management.
- Conduct back testing and develop research for trade ideas.
What you'll need#
- Ph.D. candidate or 1st year master’s student, with a degree awarded before July 2028.
- Strong mathematical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
- Technical proficiency in Excel, VBA, and R.
- Programming experience in Python.
- Interest in financial markets, trading, and financial products.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Entrepreneurial spirit and strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Location & details#
- Location: New York, New York.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Modality: On-site, full-time.
- Compensation: Annualized salary of $200,000, prorated for the 10-week duration, plus a housing stipend and completion bonus.
