About the role#
The Procurement Intern will support core functions within the Procurement Services team, including strategic sourcing, category management, supplier risk management, and operations. This is a full-time, paid internship for the Winter 2027 term, running from January to April. You will work 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
What you'll do#
- Support data collection and the development of the master database.
- Assist in creating reports, analytics, tools, and templates.
- Gather supplier information for business review sessions.
- Help with supplier segmentation and initial risk assessments.
- Contribute to various transformation and business-as-usual initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate degree program in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or Operations Management.
- A plan to return to full-time studies after the internship term.
- A strong interest in procurement.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Excellent interpersonal, judgment, and decision-making skills.
Location & details#
- This role is based in the Greater Toronto Area, Ontario.
- The position operates in a hybrid format, requiring three days per week in the office.
