About the role#
Saskatoon Co-operative Association Ltd. is seeking a student for a Clerk Cashier position at the Yorkton Food Store. This is a full-time, paid role with a rolling term.
What you'll do#
Your responsibilities include stocking and facing products within the store. You will process customer transactions, including tobacco and lottery sales, using the Point-of-Sale system. Additionally, you will pick and pack grocery orders and operate a company van to deliver groceries within town limits. You will also assist with general food store duties, such as housekeeping and tasks related to opening and closing the store.
What you'll need#
Candidates should have prior retail experience in customer service, point of sale operations, and merchandising. You must be physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing ladders, and kneeling. This role requires flexibility to work all scheduled shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Preference is given to students pursuing majors in Business Administration, Marketing, or Operations Management.
