About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience with Grid Automation and Software technologies, products, and services. You will work on meaningful projects alongside experienced professionals to develop your leadership and communication skills. This is a paid, full-time position.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate on enhancing existing Grid Automation and Software solutions while developing new, commercially viable features.
- Solve real-world industry and customer challenges using a mix of electrical engineering principles, physics, and AI/ML techniques.
- Contribute to pilot projects and initiatives that shape the future of grid technology.
What you'll need#
- A master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or a related STEM field.
- A minimum cumulative or in-major GPA of 3.0/4.0.
- A commitment to working 40 hours per week during the summer internship.
- Foundational knowledge of power system concepts, including grid stability and fault detection.
- Familiarity with grid automation technologies and standards.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
