About the role#
GE Vernova offers engineering students the opportunity to contribute to the power generation industry through a Spring 2027 internship. This role focuses on the design, development, and analysis of advanced reactor technology and nuclear services. Interns work alongside experienced technologists to address global energy challenges.
What you'll do#
- Receive mentorship and technical coaching from industry experts.
- Grow technical expertise through hands-on assignments in systems, analysis, design, reliability, digital, and integration and test.
- Perform design and analysis of product lines, develop models, and conduct research.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external organizations to solve engineering problems.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a full-time undergraduate or graduate program in an engineering discipline, specifically Nuclear, Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Material Science, Controls, Civil/Structural, Computer, or Computer Science Engineering.
- Graduation date set for May or December 2028 or 2029.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Ability to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to obtain authorization to access information subject to U.S. Export Control Laws.
