About the role#
This is a 16-week Manufacturing Engineering Co-Op position based at an Owens Corning manufacturing plant. You will work on-site, receive mentorship from technical specialists, and complete hands-on projects. This role is designed to build your technical and leadership skills in a production environment. Successful participants may be considered for future internships or full-time roles in our Operations Leadership Development Programs.
What you'll do#
- Lead safety initiatives and drive process improvements.
- Increase productivity and eliminate waste.
- Apply Total Productive Maintenance principles.
- Troubleshoot and solve problems related to designs, materials, or processes.
- Use data and analytics to make decisions.
- Lead teams and communicate to improve performance.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Previous internship or co-op experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Demonstrated leadership in professional, service, or social organizations.
- Ability to take initiative and work effectively in a team.
- Willingness and flexibility to relocate for the assignment.

- Location: Toledo, Ohio (with assignments at various US manufacturing sites).
- Term: Winter 2027.
- Status: Paid, full-time.
