    About the role#

    This is a 16-week co-op position based at an Owens Corning manufacturing plant. You will work alongside technical specialists on projects that provide hands-on experience in a production environment. The role focuses on building your technical skills and leadership capabilities while you contribute to plant operations.

    What you'll do#

    • Lead projects focused on safety leadership and process improvements.
    • Analyze production data to support decision making.
    • Troubleshoot and solve problems related to designs, materials, and manufacturing processes.
    • Work on productivity increases, waste elimination, and total productive maintenance.
    • Enhance your leadership skills by leading teams and communicating effectively.
    • Strengthen your technical expertise through mentorship from seasoned professionals.

    What you'll need#

    • A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering, or a relevant engineering technology major.
    • Previous internship or co-op experience in a manufacturing setting.
    • Demonstrated leadership experience in professional, service, or social organizations.
    • Willingness and flexibility to relocate for the assignment.

    • Location: Toledo, Ohio (with potential for placement at various US manufacturing sites).
    • Term: Fall 2027.
    • Modality: On-site.
    • This is a paid, full-time position.
