About the role#
This internship provides an introduction to the power generation industry. You will work with the Commercial Team to support growth strategies, market analysis, and sales execution. Interns receive mentorship from experienced professionals and gain exposure to commercial operations, pricing, and product sales. This is a full-time, paid summer position.
What you'll do#
- Support market and customer analysis to identify new growth opportunities.
- Assist with proposal and deal activity, including contract evaluation, risk analysis, and competitive positioning.
- Partner with teams on pricing, forecasting, and sales operations to improve business decision-making.
- Participate in projects to improve commercial tools, reporting, and processes.
- Receive training and coaching from commercial experts.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a full-time undergraduate or graduate program.
- Preferred majors include Mechanical, Power Systems, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering, as well as Mechatronics.
- Business majors with demonstrated technical aptitude will also be considered.
- A minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States. We do not provide visa sponsorship.
- Skills in project management, problem-solving, communication, and leadership.
- A genuine interest in the energy industry and customer care.
Location & details#
- Term: Summer 2027 (May/June to August).
- Modality: On-site.
- Locations: Atlanta, GA; Schenectady, NY; Greenville, SC; Longmont, CO; Wilmington, NC; Charleroi, PA; and Chicago, IL.
- Compensation: $1,000 to $2,000 per week.
