About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to join the Product Development team at GE Vernova. You will work within the Electrical & Grid Lifecycle Subsystem to support the development of wind turbine technology. This is a full-time, on-site position for the summer of 2027.
What you'll do#
- Support the design and development of wind turbine Blade Pitch control systems and Power Converter systems.
- Work in a hands-on lab environment with equipment for full-scale testing of megawatt-level power conversion hardware.
- Create schematics and drawings that transition into physical hardware.
- Perform tasks related to grid compatibility, reliability, and agency compliance.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or graduate program in Electrical, Computer, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering at an ABET accredited university.
- Rising undergraduate seniors or graduating master’s candidates.
- Ability to work in the US without sponsorship.
- Preferred GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher.
