About the role#
As a mechanical design intern, you will join our team to work on the design and rehabilitation of hydroelectric alternators. You will work alongside experienced engineering professionals and contribute to project goals as an active team member.
What you'll do#
- Design mechanical equipment related to hydraulic alternators, including modeling, sizing, and associated calculations.
- Support the rehabilitation of components for existing alternators.
- Participate in design reviews with various internal functions.
- Provide technical support for manufacturing and site installation.
- Assist engineers with various project-related tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in or recent graduation from a bachelor or master program in mechanical engineering.
- Familiarity with the strength of materials and basic mechanical calculations.
- Proficiency with office software and computer-aided design (CAD) tools.
- Fluency in English, both oral and written.
