About the role#
The Fleet Issue Risk Intern supports the identification, analysis, and tracking of technical and operational risks across the Gas Power fleet. You will work with the Global Site Issue Management team to monitor fleet performance, identify trends, and support data-driven actions that improve reliability. This role offers hands-on experience in risk assessment and cross-functional problem solving.
What you'll do#
- Collect, organize, and analyze fleet performance, maintenance, and issue data.
- Detect trends and prioritize risks by analyzing reliability, inspection, and incident data.
- Develop risk rankings based on severity, likelihood, and business impact.
- Create reports, dashboards, and presentations for leadership and internal stakeholders.
- Support decision-making for issue containment and long-term corrective actions.
- Maintain operational tools and build automation to streamline repetitive tasks.
- Monitor and document the status of corrective and preventive actions.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited university pursuing a degree in Business, Digital Technology, Analytics, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Practical experience with data analytic tools such as Excel, Smartsheet, or BI software.
- Experience with digital or automation tool development.
