About the role#
As a Mixed Signal Engineer Intern, you will contribute to analog and mixed-signal design and automation initiatives. You will work alongside experienced engineers on circuit design, machine learning applications, and design flow optimization.
What you'll do#
- Develop and validate machine learning models for analog design automation.
- Analyze design data, simulation results, and layout metrics to extract insights.
- Collaborate with design engineers to identify challenges and propose automation strategies.
- Support tool development and scripting for design flow enhancements.
- Perform analog and mixed-signal circuit analysis, design, simulation, and verification in advanced CMOS nodes.
What you'll need#
- Strong foundation in analog circuit design and mixed-signal systems.
- Experience with Python and machine learning libraries like scikit-learn or PyTorch.
- Familiarity with EDA tools such as Cadence Virtuoso.
- Exposure to design automation concepts and analog layout-aware design.
- Experience with data analysis tools including MATLAB and pandas.
- Enrollment in an Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Data Science program.

- This is an on-site, full-time, paid internship.
- Locations: Wilmington, Massachusetts, or Durham, North Carolina.
- This position operates on a rolling basis.
