About the role#
As a Supply Chain Intern at GE Vernova, you will join the METEM team to support the production of cleaner, more accessible energy. You will work within specialized technology areas, such as Electrical Discharge Machining, Fast Hole Drilling, or Electrochemical Machining. This role offers exposure to non-traditional machining technologies and industrial electrochemistry applications.
What you'll do#
- Drive business priorities for safety, quality, delivery, and cost within your assigned product portfolio.
- Manage out-of-flow inventory, including non-conforming material and repairs.
- Implement and sustain Built-in-Quality standards.
- Reduce defects, scrap, and rework through daily management and problem solving.
- Work with Design Liaison Engineers to manage the Material Review Board process.
- Lead continuous improvement projects across manufacturing and quality departments.
- Maintain Quality Management System procedures, conduct audits, and manage calibration actions.
- Provide training on quality processes as needed.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a full-time undergraduate or graduate program.
- A minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA.
- Major in Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Material Science Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week.
- Status as a U.S. Person, as this role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.
