About the role#
Direct Agents is looking for an AI Business Strategy & Operations Intern to join the team in New York. You will work with senior leadership to build and ship AI tools that help account teams and media operators in their daily work. This is a hands-on position focused on practical application rather than research.
What you'll do#
- Drive AI enablement by coaching teams on workflows that save time.
- Build a library of prompts, templates, and playbooks for media, creative, and analytics teams.
- Design and run training sessions on AI coding and automation tools.
- Identify repetitive tasks, prototype automations, and track time savings.
- Scope and build custom AI tools for client workstreams, such as competitive intelligence or creative QA.
- Create dashboards for team performance, client reporting, and internal operations.
- Research and test new AI platforms to determine their value for the business.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit or recent completion of a degree in Business, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Marketing, or a related field.
- A genuine curiosity about AI and how it changes work processes.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical teammates.
- Ability to manage multiple projects at once and work without heavy oversight.
- A collaborative, low-ego approach to working across different teams.
- Some exposure to scripting, light coding, or workflow automation is a plus.
