About the role#
This is a paid, full-time internship for Summer 2027. You will work on-site at one of our locations in Greenville, Houston, Atlanta, or Schenectady. This role is designed to prepare students for a career in the power generation industry by providing hands-on experience with steam turbines, gas turbines, engines, and generators.
What you'll do#
- Receive technical training, coaching, and mentorship from experienced technologists.
- Grow your technical expertise and expand your skills in new engineering areas.
- Perform design and analysis of product lines including steam turbines, gas turbines, and generators.
- Develop and implement new design concepts and improvements.
- Work with the drafting team to create or update technical drawings.
- Partner with manufacturing teams to solve problems related to complex production processes.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a full-time undergraduate or graduate program in Aerospace, Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Environmental, or Industrial Engineering.
- At least one to two semesters remaining before graduation.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Ability to work in the United States for an unlimited amount of time without sponsorship.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to work well within a team.
