    About the role#

    The Student Project Engineer provides administrative and documentation support to the project management and onsite field teams. This is a temporary, full-time position based in Alaska. You will spend roughly 60% to 80% of your time on field operations, with the remainder of your work completed in an office setting. The role requires travel to remote locations for extended periods.

    What you'll do#

    • Collect and review timecards and equipment usage reports.
    • Assist the Superintendent with daily project reports.
    • Draft correspondence regarding project routes.
    • Support project health, safety, and environmental compliance efforts.
    • Assist the Project Manager, Superintendent, and Foreman with project documentation.

    What you'll need#

    • Completion of 2 to 3 years of postsecondary education in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Surveying, Environmental Engineering, or related fields.
    • Experience in the construction industry, with a preference for heavy civil construction.
    • A valid state driver’s license and the ability to meet company driving policy requirements.
    • Ability to pass drug, driving, and background screenings.
    • Certified Erosion and Sediment Control Lead (CESCL) certification is preferred.
