About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience with Grid Automation and Software technologies, products, and services. You will work on projects that help electrify the world and support decarbonization efforts. This is a paid, full-time role based in the United States.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate on enhancing existing Grid Automation and Software solutions while developing new features.
- Solve industry and customer challenges using electrical engineering principles, physics, and AI/ML techniques.
- Contribute to pilot projects that shape the future of grid technology.
- Work at the intersection of power systems and intelligent software.
- Gain exposure to enterprise applications that support modern energy infrastructure.
What you'll need#
- A fresh graduate degree in Engineering or a Master's degree in electrical engineering, electronics engineering, computer science, or a related STEM field.
- A minimum cumulative or in-major GPA of 3.0/4.0.
- Familiarity with grid automation technologies and IEC standards.
- Foundational knowledge of power system concepts, such as fault detection and grid stability.
- Ability to commit to working 40 hours per week during the summer.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
