About the role#
GE Vernova offers engineering students the opportunity to contribute to advanced reactor technology and carbon-free energy solutions. This internship provides hands-on experience in the power generation industry through technical assignments, mentorship from experienced technologists, and exposure to real-world engineering challenges.
What you'll do#
- Receive technical guidance, mentorship, and coaching from industry professionals.
- Develop technical expertise and expand skills in new functional areas.
- Work on projects focused on systems, analysis, design, reliability, digital integration, and testing.
- Perform design and analysis of product lines, create models, conduct research, and solve complex technical problems.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external organizations to support project goals.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a full-time undergraduate or graduate program in an engineering discipline, including Nuclear, Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Material Science, Controls, Civil/Structural, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
- Graduation date of May or December 2028, or May or December 2029.
- Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Ability to obtain authorization to access information subject to U.S. export control laws.
