About the role#
This internship provides students with technical learning opportunities, mentorship, and coaching from experienced technologists. You will gain hands-on experience in the power generation industry while contributing to the design and development of advanced reactor technology. This is a paid, full-time position designed to build your technical expertise and professional skills through real-world assignments.
What you'll do#
- Work on technically challenging projects in areas including systems, analysis, design, reliability, digital, and integration and test.
- Perform design and analysis of product lines, develop models, conduct research, and solve technical problems.
- Collaborate with team members and other organizational departments.
- Expand your technical skills and gain exposure to engineering concepts in a professional environment.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a full-time undergraduate or graduate program in an engineering discipline, specifically: Nuclear, Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Material Science, Controls, Civil/Structural, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Graduation date of May or December 2028, or May or December 2029.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Ability to obtain authorization to access information subject to U.S. Export Control Laws.
- Reliable transportation.
