About the role#
This internship offers an opportunity to work within a manufacturing and supply chain environment at the GE Vernova gas turbine site in Greenville. You will contribute to a facility that builds and repairs technology used for power generation. This role focuses on manufacturing processes, quality control, and production efficiency.
What you'll do#
- Manage processes and procedures to improve customer satisfaction, quality, and material productivity.
- Evaluate manufacturing workflows to identify and implement operational improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address production quality.
- Apply Lean Six Sigma methodologies to drive improvements across the production floor.
- Maintain technical knowledge regarding standards, codes, and procedures for production equipment.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a full-time undergraduate or graduate engineering program.
- Accepted majors include Industrial, Aeronautical, Aerospace, Chemical, Electrical, Material Science, or Mechanical Engineering.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Unrestricted work authorization for the United States.

- Location: Greenville, South Carolina.
- Term: Summer 2027 (May to August).
- Schedule: Full-time (40 hours weekly) on the first shift.
- Modality: On-site.
