About the role#
We are looking for two student food clerks to join our team at the Macklin Food Store. This is a full-time, paid position with a rolling term. You will work on-site to help maintain our store operations and serve our members.
What you'll do#
- Provide service to our members and customers.
- Operate a till and handle cash transactions.
- Keep shelves stocked and ensure products are displayed clearly.
- Make sure products are ready and available for customers.
- Assist with receiving duties and perform housekeeping tasks as needed.
- Operate and maintain equipment safely.
What you'll need#
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a high level of service.
- Commitment to cooperative values and principles.
- Ability to be physically active and lift up to 50 lbs without assistance.
- Previous retail experience with grocery or food products is helpful.
- Current enrollment in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or Communications programs is preferred.
