About the role#
This is a part-time student position at Your Independent Grocer in Port Elgin. You will work on-site to help with store operations and support the team in delivering service to customers. This role is a unionized position.
What you'll do#
- Assist with day-to-day store tasks.
- Engage with customers to provide service.
- Collaborate with other team members to keep the store running.
- Contribute to the operation of the store.
- Support local sustainability and social impact initiatives.
What you'll need#
- You must be 18 years or older.
- Completion of a criminal background check is required.
- Strong reliability and an enthusiastic attitude.
- Ability to work well within a team environment.
- A commitment to sustainability and social impact.
- Students pursuing majors in Business Administration, Marketing, Psychology, Communications, or Sociology are encouraged to apply.
