About the role#
Saskatoon Co-operative Association Ltd. is hiring two students for the Student Food Clerk position at the Unity Food Store. This is a full-time, paid role with a rolling term. You will work on-site in Unity, Saskatchewan.
What you'll do#
You will help keep the store running smoothly for our members and customers. Your core tasks include:
- Providing service to members and customers.
- Operating a till and managing cash.
- Keeping shelves stocked and products displayed.
- Ensuring products are ready and available.
- Performing housekeeping and receiving duties.
- Operating and maintaining equipment safely.
What you'll need#
We are looking for students who are reliable, friendly, and hard working. You should have a customer-first attitude and a sense of urgency. The following qualifications are preferred:
- Previous retail experience with grocery or food products.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple demands while assisting customers.
- Commitment to cooperative values and principles.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs unassisted.
