About the role#
The Digital Product Owner Student will work with the Manager of Digital Products to develop and execute customer experience strategies for digital onboarding and servicing of financial products. This is a 4-month internship for the Fall 2026 term based in Oakville. You will collaborate with internal teams and Canadian Tire Retail to refine digital solutions and support business objectives.
What you'll do#
- Manage and prioritize the product backlog.
- Research trends and opportunities within the competitive landscape.
- Create and refine digital solutions with your team.
- Communicate user stories and project solutions to key stakeholders.
- Incorporate accessibility requirements into project planning.
- Oversee projects through to deployment while managing necessary approvals.
- Track and report on digital engagement KPIs and project performance.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a post-secondary program, preferably in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science, or Communications.
- Strong proficiency with MS PowerPoint and Excel.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication skills to engage and influence team members.
- Experience in Digital Product Management, Project Management, Marketing, or Design is an asset.
- A solid understanding of web and mobile technologies is an asset.
