About the role#
Riverbend Co-op is hiring an Ag Solutions Summer Student for the 2027 season in Broderick, Saskatchewan. This position offers hands-on experience working directly with local producers and our internal team. You will build practical skills in agronomy and customer service while supporting our daily operations.
What you'll do#
Reporting to the Ag Solutions Sales and Operations Manager, you will assist with the daily work of our Ag Solutions division. Your responsibilities include:
- Working with our agronomist and sales team on crop planning, fertility, and crop protection.
- Supporting field trials and gaining real-world experience in crop production.
- Assisting customers with inquiries and operational tasks.
- Participating in training and development opportunities.
- Building relationships with team members and local producers.
What you'll need#
- Current enrolment in a post-secondary program related to Agronomy, Ag Business, Plant Science, or Soil Science.
- A willingness to learn and get involved in all aspects of the role.
- A results-oriented mindset and the ability to collaborate effectively with others.
- Previous agriculture experience is considered an asset.
