About the role#
As an Oncology Medical Affairs Intern, you will join a team focused on advancing a pipeline of cancer treatments. You will work alongside Medical Advisors to execute projects and tactics that support the Oncology Medical Affairs strategy. This 12-month role provides exposure to pharmaceutical strategy and cross-functional collaboration on both regional and national initiatives.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the project management and execution of medical affairs tactics, including advisory boards, medical plans, and congress support.
- Develop communication tools and content to support team strategy.
- Conduct literature searches and create scientific summaries to inform projects.
- Coordinate team meetings and collaborate with cross-functional partners.
- Summarize team insights to help inform medical and cross-functional strategy.
- Support general medical affairs field and head office projects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or postgraduate degree program, with graduation expected after the internship ends.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or Health Sciences (advanced degrees are preferred).
- Demonstrated interest in medical affairs and the pharmaceutical industry.
- Understanding of clinical trials, clinical development programs, and real-world or Phase IV studies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications and experience with AI tools.
- Strong initiative, effective time management, and an analytical mindset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Previous project management experience.

- Compensation: The annual base salary range for this position is 42,908.00 to 56,316.75 CAD.
