About the role#
Onco360 Oncology Pharmacy is hiring a part-time Pharmacy Intern for our Scottsdale, Arizona location. This role involves supporting our pharmacy team in serving oncology and hematology patients, physicians, and manufacturers. You will work on-site for less than 30 hours per week with a flexible schedule.
What you'll do#
You will communicate with patients and physician offices to coordinate medication refill deliveries and answer incoming calls. Your work includes maintaining pharmacy inventory, ordering supplies, and keeping the workspace clean and safe. You will handle prescription activities, prepare labels, calculate quantities, and resolve claim rejections including prior authorizations. You will also assist patients with co-payments and financial assistance programs, provide counseling regarding the Celgene REMS program, and support the pharmacist with dispensing duties.
What you'll need#
You must hold a high school diploma or equivalent and be currently enrolled in pharmacy studies at an accredited university. A valid Pharmacy Intern license for the state of Arizona is required. You should have knowledge of medical terminology, general pharmacy terminology, and brand and generic medication names. Two years of experience as a pharmacy technician is preferred.

This position is located in Scottsdale, Arizona. It is an on-site, part-time role with compensation ranging from $24.00 to $33.00 per hour, based on your completed years of pharmacy school.
