About the role#
As an Oncology Medical Affairs Intern, you will join a team focused on executing medical strategies and advancing a pipeline of cancer medicines. You will work alongside Medical Advisors to support regional and national initiatives. This role provides exposure to pharmaceutical strategy and cross-functional team collaboration over a 12-month contract.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the project management and execution of medical affairs tactics, including advisory boards, medical plans, and congress support.
- Develop communication tools and content to support team strategy.
- Conduct literature searches and create scientific summaries to inform ongoing projects.
- Coordinate team meetings and collaborate with cross-functional partners.
- Summarize team insights and activities to help inform medical strategy.
- Support general field and head office medical affairs projects.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an undergraduate or postgraduate degree program, with graduation expected after the internship concludes.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or Health Sciences. Advanced degrees are preferred.
- An interest in medical affairs and the pharmaceutical industry.
- Experience with project management and AI tools.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex information.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A collaborative mindset with demonstrated leadership ability.
- An understanding of clinical trials, clinical development programs, and real-world or Phase IV studies.
- Initiative, self-motivation, and effective time management skills.

- Compensation: This is a paid position with an annual base salary range of 42,908.00 to 56,316.75 CAD.
