About the role#
This is a paid, ten-week summer internship program for undergraduate students. You will work on assignments that contribute to our business and patient outcomes. The program includes a mix of training, field observation, and project work. You will report to and work with sales leaders to receive coaching and feedback throughout the summer.
What you'll do#
- Complete company orientation and product training before moving into the field.
- Gain hands-on experience in a designated geographic location while accompanied by a District Manager or Sales Representative.
- Develop a pre-call plan and participate in a role-play scenario to demonstrate our value proposition to healthcare providers.
- Deliver a final presentation that covers sales performance, brand KPIs, financial targets, and marketing objectives.
- Travel between our corporate headquarters in Lake County, Illinois, and your assigned geographic district.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a bachelor's degree program in business, marketing, sales, biological sciences, pharmacy, or an equivalent field.
- You must be enrolled in university for the semester following the internship.
- Basic knowledge of the healthcare or biotechnology industry.
- Comfort with frequent air and ground travel.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
- High levels of discipline and a strong desire to learn.
