About the role#
This is a 12-month, full-time paid internship based in Mississauga, Ontario. You will work within the GI Oncology Franchise to support strategic and tactical brand planning. This role is hybrid, allowing for a mix of onsite and virtual work.
What you'll do#
- Support brand planning processes and partner with cross-functional teams on key 2027 priorities.
- Develop and execute promotional materials and activities.
- Gather and analyze data to support projects and contribute to team meetings.
- Develop competitive benchmarking and conduct clinical reviews of comparative products.
- Create solutions to business issues with a focus on simplification.
- Assist with sales meeting development, workshop execution, and training initiatives.
- Coordinate the AstraZeneca Oncology presence at national and international medical conferences.
- Act as a liaison between the sales team and the head office marketing team.
- Support GI team culture initiatives, including internal communications and recognition activities.
What you'll need#
- A university degree or higher in a relevant field such as business or science.
- High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a solutions-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Initiative and the ability to work in a changing environment.
- Availability to work from January 2027 through December 2027.
- A sense of humor and the ability to not take yourself too seriously.
