About the role#
Saskatoon Co-operative Association Ltd. is hiring a student Clerk Cashier for the Yorkton Food Store. This is a full-time, on-site role with a rolling term.
What you'll do#
Your primary goal is to provide service that makes guests feel at home. You will handle transactions using the Point-of-Sale system, which includes lottery and tobacco sales. You will also stock and face products on store shelves. Daily tasks include general housekeeping and assisting with store opening and closing procedures.
What you'll need#
We look for students with prior retail experience in customer service, merchandising, and point-of-sale operation. You must be honest, trustworthy, and results-oriented. Success in this role requires a collaborative mindset and the ability to build relationships with others.
Physical requirements include the ability to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and kneel. You must be available to work all scheduled shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. While not required, this role is a fit for students pursuing degrees in Business Administration, Marketing, or Human Resources.
