About the role#
This is a full-time position based in Olds, Alberta. You will support the planning and execution of marketing initiatives to drive store sales and increase brand awareness. This role requires travel between locations within the trading area to support events and community projects.
What you'll do#
- Coordinate advertising, promotions, and in-store media including TV ads, emails, and newsletters.
- Manage social media platforms, responding to interactions to maintain a consistent brand voice.
- Track marketing performance, customer insights, and competitor trends to create reports for decision-making.
- Organize community engagement initiatives such as sponsorships, donations, and programs like the Kids Club.
- Provide administrative support by processing invoices, claims, and documentation.
- Research new ideas and opportunities to improve marketing programs.
- Order and distribute promotional materials across various locations.
What you'll need#
- Post-secondary education in Business with a focus on Marketing is preferred.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in a marketing-related role.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and social media platforms.
- Proficiency with Canva and Excel.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Strong attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
- Professional communication skills.
