About the role#
The Marketing Coordinator supports the planning, coordination, and execution of marketing initiatives at Saskatoon Co-operative Association Ltd. This full-time, on-site position focuses on driving store sales, enhancing brand awareness, and managing community engagement efforts. The role requires travel within the trading area to support various locations and events.
What you'll do#
- Coordinate and support marketing initiatives, including advertising, promotions, and in-store media such as TV ads, emails, and newsletters.
- Monitor and respond to social media platforms to maintain a consistent brand voice and build trust.
- Track and analyze marketing performance, customer insights, and competitor trends to create reports for decision-making.
- Coordinate community engagement initiatives, including events, sponsorships, donations, and programs like the Kids Club.
- Provide administrative support by processing claims, invoices, and documentation.
- Collaborate with team members to identify opportunities for improvement and support the execution of marketing strategies.
What you'll need#
- Post-secondary education (diploma or degree) in Business with a focus on Marketing is preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in a marketing-related role.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and social media platforms.
- Proficiency with Canva, Excel, and Microsoft Office.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and interpersonal abilities.
