Marketing Coordinator

About the role#

This full-time Marketing Coordinator position supports the planning, coordination, and execution of marketing initiatives designed to drive store sales and enhance awareness of the Co-op Value Proposition. The role works collaboratively across teams to implement campaigns, manage communications, and support community engagement efforts while ensuring brand consistency.

What you'll do#

• Coordinate and support marketing initiatives, including advertising, promotions, and in-store media such as TV ads, emails, and newsletters.
• Monitor and respond to social media platforms to maintain a consistent brand voice and build trust.
• Track and analyze marketing performance, customer insights, and competitor trends, creating reports to support decision-making.
• Coordinate community engagement initiatives, including events, sponsorships, donations, and programs like the Kids Club.
• Provide administrative support, including processing claims, invoices, and documentation.
• Maintain brand consistency across all communications and materials.
• Research new ideas and opportunities to enhance marketing strategies.
• Coordinate and distribute promotional materials, including handling ordering and logistics.

What you'll need#

• Post-secondary education (diploma or degree) in Business with a focus on Marketing is preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in a marketing-related role.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and social media platforms.
• Proficiency with Canva and Excel.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Professional, people-first communication skills.
