About the role#
The Technology Programs Specialist joins the Finance Department to manage technology governance and hardware lifecycles. This role acts as a bridge between internal divisions, the technology team, and external partners to ensure consistent standards across all locations.
What you'll do#
- Build and maintain technology governance frameworks, standards, and process maps.
- Track governance effectiveness and asset health through metrics and reporting.
- Manage the full lifecycle of hardware, including computers, POS systems, network switches, and Moneris terminals.
- Maintain accurate asset inventory and tracking across all sites.
- Create PCI documentation, training materials, and checklists to support audits.
- Coordinate technology access for employee onboarding and offboarding.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for external vendors and service desk teams.
- Triage technology questions and deliver training on governance and PCI requirements.
What you'll need#
- A Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or technical coordination.
- Experience with M365, retail technology, multi-location operations, or compliance programs is an asset.
- Relevant certifications such as A+, Network+, ITIL Foundation, or COBIT Foundations are considered an asset.
