About the role#
Loblaw is looking for a co-op student to join the ESG Reporting team for the Winter 2027 term. This role acts as a central hub for coordinating reporting activities, tracking progress against environmental, social, and governance commitments, and disclosing results. You will work across various business divisions to prepare the company's external ESG report and data sheet.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to the preparation and submission of the ESG report and data sheet.
- Collect, organize, and validate ESG data by collaborating with business stakeholders.
- Support reporting efforts for company leadership and across different departments.
- Assist with ESG-related communications to gather necessary information.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement by introducing new strategies and techniques.
- Demonstrate a commitment to Loblaw’s purpose and goals regarding climate change and social equity.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in or completion of a university degree in Business Administration, Environmental Engineering, or a related program.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in internal controls, assurance, or data analytics.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- High attention to detail with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under strict deadlines.
- A proactive mindset and an enthusiasm for learning.
- Familiarity with ESG subject matter and reporting protocols is an asset.

- Location: Brampton, Ontario.
- Term: Winter 2027 (January 6, 2027, to April 16, 2027).
- Modality: Hybrid (up to 1 day remote per week, with 4 days in the office).
- Employment: Full-time, paid position.
