About the role#
Saskatoon Co-operative Association Ltd. is seeking a part-time Deli Clerk for the Innisfail Food Store. This position involves 24 to 36 hours of work per week, with availability required across weekdays and weekends, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings. Benefit eligibility begins after three months of employment.
What you'll do#
- Provide exceptional customer service to all shoppers.
- Prepare deli items including sandwiches, pizzas, salads, fried foods, and special trays.
- Stock, package, slice, and label products for purchase.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager.
What you'll need#
- Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, as some heavy lifting is required.
- Applicants must be over 14 years old.
- Previous experience with food preparation is considered an asset, though training is available.
