About the role#
Saskatoon Co-operative Association Ltd. is hiring a part-time Deli Clerk for the Innisfail Food Store. This role involves 24 to 36 hours per week with availability required across mornings, afternoons, and evenings on both weekdays and weekends. Benefit eligibility begins after 3 months of employment.
What you'll do#
- Provide exceptional customer service to shoppers.
- Prepare deli items including sandwiches, pizzas, salads, fried foods, and special trays.
- Stock, package, slice, and label products for sale.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager.
What you'll need#
- Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, as some heavy lifting is required.
- Applicants must be over 14 years old.
- Experience with food preparation is an asset, though training is available.
