Deli Clerk

About the role#

Saskatoon Co-operative Association Ltd. is seeking a part-time Deli Clerk for the Innisfail Food Store. This role involves 24 to 36 hours of work per week with availability required for mornings, afternoons, and evenings across both weekdays and weekends. Benefits become available after three months of employment.

What you'll do#

• Provide exceptional customer service to all shoppers.
• Prepare a variety of food items including sandwiches, pizzas, salads, fried foods, and special trays.
• Stock, package, slice, and label deli products for purchase.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager.

What you'll need#

• Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, as some heavy lifting is required.
• Applicants must be over 14 years of age.
• Previous food preparation experience is considered an asset, though training is available.
