Student Produce Clerk

About the role#

This is a student position at the Melfort Food Store. The role is full-time and operates on a rolling basis, requiring on-site attendance.

What you'll do#

• Receive, examine, and warehouse incoming produce.
• Rotate stock to ensure freshness and quality.
• Perform trimming, preparation, washing, and culling of products.
• Manage product displays, including price marketing.
• Prepare value-added cut produce.
• Perform other assigned tasks as needed.

What you'll need#

• Ability to work effectively with co-workers and the public.
• Strong communication skills.
• Energetic and upbeat nature.
• Must be trustworthy and bondable.
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects.
• Currently pursuing studies in Agriculture.
