About the role#
This is a student position at the Yorkton Food Store. You will support the produce department by maintaining inventory and assisting customers. This role is on-site and requires availability for a variety of shifts.
What you'll do#
- Stock shelves and rotate products to ensure freshness.
- Wash, cut, and package fruits and vegetables.
- Answer customer questions and promote available products.
- Perform housekeeping duties to keep the department clean and safe.
What you'll need#
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and kneel.
- Willingness to obtain a Food Safe Certificate.
- Availability to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- A trustworthy and results-oriented approach to your work.
- Current enrollment in a program such as Business Administration, Health Administration, Agriculture, or Nutrition is preferred.
